One small drop of blood! ?

My guitars bleed for me.
Because I pour my soul into them.

I can't remember if I do or not...it's been so long since I built anything.

I sign my name and date it.

This thread reminds of the story of Joan Baez's '29 0-45, where a message
on the inside of the top was discovered by a repairman at Martin. It said,
"too bad you are a communist." They figured it had been put there when it
had been repaired decades before.

I got killroy drawn on at least one brace.
So if you stick a mirror in it you got someone staring back at you.
Teddy bear paw prints drawn on.
Anything silly will do
I like JJ's idea of naming them.

Cheers,
Claire

I had not heard that one Pat - good story. It's seems like a pretty mean
spirited thing for a repair person to have done...... I also suspect that if
they knew then what the world knows now about Joan's personal life they
would have been narrow enough to mention that too....... Shame on
them.

How ironic if Joan had decided to be that capitalist that she is also known
to be and sued Martin for defacing her guitar..........[/QUOTE]

Hesh,

They did a limited edition of her guitar in the late 90s, called it the 0-45
JB and considered putting that message inside, but I don't know if they
did or not.
